Brian was born and raised in New York City. His first acting experience was as part of the children's choir at the Metropolitan Opera, where he sang alongside Luciano Pavarotti.  

 

He performed in school productions until graduating from the Yale School of Drama, and shortly after, landed the role of Officer Mike Laskey (opposite the tremendous Taraji P. Henson) on CBS' Person of Interest. 

 

He has since enjoyed playing a wide range of characters on television, including the Marquis de Lafayette on AMC's Turn; detective Jimmy Shea on TNT's Public Morals; and currently, the mysterious hacker John Aksoy on Showtime's Billions

Brian lives in Brooklyn with his wonderful fiancée, Adrienne Campbell-Holt. In his spare time, he enjoys studying languages, and can speak Spanish, Mandarin, French and Arabic.
